The Global Languages Village in Malaysia celebrates the graduation of the first batch.
A wonderful ceremony was held at Kulliyah of Languages and Management KLM in Pagoh -Johor, for the graduation of the first batch of the elementary level in Arabic language.This course started on August 15, 2022 and ended on November 6, 2022.
During this period, students acquired language skills and great Arabic vocabulary, as they studied for 4 hours per day in the classroom and then returned to their hostel to practice the language with supervisors living with them in the hostel, in addition to other accompanying language activities, sports, and entertaining activities. Within a short period of time, students began to speak Arabic.
In a speech delivered by Dr. Mutwakil Abdullatif Elfadni, Director of MS Asia and General Supervisor of the Global Languages Village on this ceremony, Elfadni praised the cooperation of the International Islamic University Malaysia represented by IIUM Academy and Kulliyah of Languages and Management KLM, and thanked them for their interest and keenness to implement the Languages Village’s agreement between MS Asia and IIUM.
In his speech during the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Badri Najib Zubir, Dean of IIUM Academy, praised the students’ level and advised them to continue interacting with the language. As for Ustaz Al-Hajj Labi Idris bin Ali, Director of the Kulliyah of Language and Religion, Sultan Abu Bakr Pekan Pahang, he praised the outcomes of the course, and valued the effective cooperation between the Religious Administration of Pahang State and MS Asia.
The ceremony was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Mohammed Azrul Azlen bin Abdul Hamid, Dean of the Kulliyah of Languages and Management, Associate Professor Dr. Badri Najib Zubir, Dean of IIUM Academy, Ustaz Al-Haj Labi Idris bin Ali, Director of the Kulliyah of Language and Religion, Sultan Abu Bakr Pekan Bahang, Mr. Roslan bin Ariffin, president of the School of Qur’anic and Hadith Sciences in Klang Selangor, and Mr. Amran Bin Johari, Principal of the School of Quranic and Hadith Sciences in Klang Selangor, lecturers from the Language Village, lecturers from KLM and parents.
Immediately after the ceremony, the continuation of registration for new courses, both Arabic and English courses was announced.
