The 3rd International Symposium for Teachers of Arabic Language to Non-Native speakers in Southeast Asia was held on March 13-16 2023 in Bekasi, Indonesia, which was organized by MS ASIA for Educational Services and Development in Malaysia and Al Binaa Institution in Indonesia with the participation of ICESCO.
The four-day symposium was attended by more than 100 participants from 16 countries. Many activities were conducted, including training courses, scientific seminars, and penal discussions.
The symposium’s opening ceremony saw the participation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Indonesia Dr. Yassir Mohamed Ali, Ash-Sheikh Aslam Muhsin Abdeen, director of Al Binaa Foundation, Dr. Mutwakil Abdullatif Elfadni, director of MS Asia for Educational Service and Development in Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Majdi Haji Ibrahim, President of the Center of Arabic for Non-Arabic Speakers, ICESCO, Dr. Mahmood Ali, chairman of the academic board of the symposium, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Badri Najib Bin Zubir, Deen of IIUM Academy.
The closing ceremony of the symposium concluded with the final statement and certificates were awarded to the invited speakers and participants.
Finally the announcement of the 4rth International symposium was made, which will be held in Indonesia in April 2024.
