Arabic for non-native speakers in Southeast Asia

On Saturday, May 16th, May 2020, MS Asia Education Services and Human Development held a seminar (remotely) via the Zoom app titled
Arabic language for non-native speakers in Southeast Asia; Reality and future prospects
At the beginning of the symposium, Mr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Zoman, Director General of MS Asia, addressed a speech in which he spoke about the importance and status of the Arabic language in Southeast Asia, and as he referred in his speech to MS Asia’s efforts in human development and the Arabic language, then the session, which was chaired by Dr. Mutawakil Abdullatif Al-Fadni, CEO of MS Asia, and the seminar was spoken by:
Dr. Siraj Al-Huda Mamoun – Director of Al-Raya University in Indonesia, and Prof. Zul Al-Azhan bin Abdul Halim – Associate Professor at the College of Languages and Communication at Sultan Zain Al-Abidin University in Malaysia, and Dr. Seif El-Din Amin – Dean of the Faculty of Mohammedia in Singapore, and Dr. Ibrahim Tehi – Head of the Department of Arabic Language at Fatani University in Thailand, and Prof. Saeed Ahmed Abdel Alim – Director of Al Rahma Educational Complex in Cambodia, and Dr. Adel Al-Sheikh, Assistant Professor at the College of Arabic Language at Sultan Al-Sharif Ali University in Brunei, and Dr. Mohamed Nazir Ebel – Vice President for Educational Affairs at the University of Kotabato in the Philippines.
It is worth noting that the number of participants in the symposium via the Zoom application reached 228 participants from 17 countries around the world, in addition to 1,743 participants who followed it during the live broadcast on MS Asia’s Facebook page.
